Out for a while

Well.. this really sucks.
Computer's getting slower and slower... halt.. reboot.. <click><whirr><click> "No hard drive found."
So... I'm on my wife's computer, and mine's in the shop. All data from the past 5 years is completely gone as my HD just completely died (and it sounds suspiciously like a car turn signal blinker now when you turn it on).

This is why I've been out for the past few days. I will also be out for at least the next 2 weeks. I should be getting my computer back on Tue, but then I'm packing it up, and moving. I'll arrive at my new home in Las Vegas July 28. After that, it'll take me a few days to a couple weeks to get set back up and running (from my temporary hotel accomodations).

Any of you selling a house in Las Vegas?? =)

my 2nd brand new sata hard drive died on me as well about a week back. not sure if it's because i leave my puter on for weeks without powering off, but it seems when i did this one time it killed it. :mad:

well have a safe trip if your driving. i might be goin back to cali soon myself for a few months. which means later game nights for ya'll east coasters...

What kinda hdd do you have corn and drider? I hope its not the WD360GD or WD2000JB. Those I bought recently because I got a good price on them. WD360GD - $110, and WD200JB - $100 oh ya!
