Thought it'd be a good idea to write out what we think we'll play as our first characters in retail, so we don't get 20 warriors all with mining/blacksmithing.
I'll start.
Undead Priest, Tailoring + Skinning
Why undead? Well I hate the look of trolls and no other horde can be priest. :\ I'll make bags for everyone at the start if they want, and I'm taking skinning just cause dead animals are so abundant.. they're an early-game goldmine. I'll probably unlearn it and take something else later on.. maybe enchanting. I figure I'm gonna set up my talents for healing, so I might kinda suck solo but the idea is to group anyway, am I right?

undead mage....not sure what profession, im open to any based on what we need. if it turns out we got like 500 mages i may roll a shaman, since its the only other char i took to a moderate level.

Hey guys..
Orc Warrior to start. Mining/blacksmithing.. I'll probably always have those professions.
I'll have an undead rogue as a second character (because of underwater breathing, good for rogues I think.. anyone have any other ideas?).. about his professions, I'm not sure... but I'm open to suggestions.

Warrior primary... I am thinking I will focus on either Heavy tanking talent tree or heavy damage. Not really interested in going the taunting route. Depends.. which direction are you going mush? Damage Dealing or Damage taking talent tree?
Shammy secondary focused on AOE totems and healing.
Plan is 2 use Warrior for pvp raids we take part in.. and Shammy/Warrior for NPC raids we take part in.

I'm going to use the damage dealing tree, I think.. it's the tree where you can buff up heroic strike, rend, stuff like that, right? :) Yea, I'll be doing that, for sure.
My rogue will buff up his stealth ability.. it will rock.

I'm in the same position I get with any sort of RPG. I want to be every character. I'll look at one class for awhile... but then that class can do this! I think I have perma-class envy. If I still haven't decided before retail, I'll probably pick a class that the guild is lacking in. However, I think I'll likely pick either Druid (though alot of lvl 60's are complaining about weakness in the late game. Thats probably the only factor keeping me from picking them), Shaman, rogue, or shadow specced priest. Hell, even the warlock seems interesting with their ability to cast fear. Heh, I need to stop thinking before I mention just about all the classes. Decisions decisions...
