High and I have tried it... and we love it!

After I tried it, I started telling everyone how phat it is.. finally high said, ok, then came back and saw all the goodies.

Just off the top of my head, here is what cosmos gives you that I have used so far: (there are many more things it does)
* Double-clicking anywhere on the map in order to create a note. Then you right-click on the dot and enter the text you want to come up when you move your mouse over it. Everyone KNOWS how handy this will be!
* Many, many new quickslots to use... on both sides of the screen, plus a dragable one as well!
* Wanted ads
* Cosmos chat channel, can turn on and off like regular chat channels.
* Sets up buffs and debuffs better.. shows name of them as well, and the amount of time just below the picture. I like to set it up so they run vertical on screen.... so many configurable options for this program, it's great.
* Quests now show automatically instead of having to wait for the text to scroll... omg it was so annoying before. Sharing quests took forever the other way. :)

There are literally TONS of other things you can do with this program.
I suggest *EVERYONE* get it.. they update it *often*.

I have cosmos as well. Unfortunately I didn't get to use it much because I was out of town Tues and Wed, and now beta is over. However, it has so many awesome features it pretty much made my head spin. I wholeheartedly reccomend it.

The ability to make mapnotes alone makes it soooooooooo awesome. :)
You can imagine finding something, and wanting to come back to it later... oh so sweet.

Other than the obvious extra toolbars, two things stuck out for me. First, when you pull up the map you see your current coordinates as well as the coordinates of what you're pointing at. thottbot.com + cosmos has saved me tons of time with quests. Second, it keeps track of your DPS, crit %, etc. Very usefull for deciding between weapons, seeing the effectiveness of talents, skills, etc.

I didn't even know about putting notes on the map, that just sweetens the deal even more. Cosmos should be on the WoW install disc. :bigthumb:
