I would much rather you play on central, because thats where I am playing with my friends. I don't see how you know east has less 'kiddies' than central, seems pretty evenly split everywhere to me, and content is no different. As far as overloading servers I don't think that will be a problem as much since throughout the beta they seemd to open up more central servers due to overpopulation on the origional few, and most likely there will be many central servers in retail. Ultimatly up to you, but it would be nice playing with you guys.

Hmmmm... Central would probably be the best for me, however I doubt that East would have much different latency. I wish that Blizzard would release a server list for retail, but they have said that they will not. I guess we will have to see what happens on the 23rd.

How do we know those are legit names?

After reading over their forum post there's no way to verify that these names are 100% legit. However, at best we can pick a server ahead of time to join, while at worst, there is no such server and we're back to where we are now.

Also, TONS of guilds and individuals are going with the first central PvP server listed alphabetically. That is why on the GvG main site they named Achimonde as the "official" PvP server. I see an upside and a large downside to picking this server. The good thing is that there will be a lower percentage of carebears. The downside is that server will be PACKED. I don't know about you, but after the insane lag on Beta server 4, I'd rather pick a non-congested server.

Definitely going to be PVP.
The only difference between PVP and non-PVP is what areas you are allowed to PVP. You don't PVP on your own side, only against the other side. In order to have the most fun, you need to have a PVP server, preferably a FFA PVP, which might come at a later time.

PVP is what makes it all that much fun, ya know.

If the server list is right, we'll be joining that one PVP server in Central.. and so will everyone else and their mom, it seems.

Many people have asked that we pick a central server.. since that would be the *only* central server, then we will be forced to choose that one.

However, keep in mind that beta was all about stress testing, which is why it acted as it did.

There will be caps on the server, so there is no need to worry about lag... so if that's the only central PVP server, get ready to join it.

For instance, I remember many people complaining that the "official" PvP server in DAoC (Mordred) suffered from the same fate.

Well, Highlander doesn't seem to care which server we are on, either central or east... and I don't know much about the rest of the people... I don't care if it's central or east.. I'd rather not be on a huge server due to lag.. but I'll go for whatever the majority want.
