what you plan on doing with your computer?! 4k just into the tower is way too much. i haven't been keeping up with the advances in the computer technology but i'd rather get two sticks of 512mb ram, one 74gb raptor drive and like three 250gb eide drives. for the nvidia cards in SLI it might be worth having if you have dual 22" monitors or something to take advantage of the higher resolutions...i still got my ati 9800 pro and already play all my games in 1600x1200 and i'd be happy to get ati x800 pro today and mod it to xt for half of half the cost. you can't forget about sound unless you already have an audigy2 paired with klipsch 5.1 ultras. if you have no budget i say go for it, you won't need to upgrade that computer until 2005... :bigthumb:

my western digital 250gb eide drive that holds all my movies and music crapped out or something last month, and i said fuck computers. had a bunch of bad sectors, and of the 240gb i had on there only 60gb was recoverable. lots of obscure and hard to find stuff lost. i turned my computer into an htpc to teach it a lesson.
