had a heatwave at my house got to above 100 degrees my comp's GC said fuck you to me LOL any opinions on what to do about it?

hope it's still under warranty? my radeon 9800 pro overheated i assume back in march...so now i'm running a radeon x800 xl. once it's fried it goes to video card heaven. :cry:

heh under warranty nahhh.. LOL i bought this. . in 2003? so its over 2 years old its about time I guess but sucks to see it go

This aint gonna help your GC now, but I added a bunch of fans inside by box so that there is greater air flow. They're pretty cheap and easy to install. Also, if you have fins on your GC's heat sink, then you should blow them clean with a can of air regularly. You'd be amazed at how quick they fill up. Sorry to hear you're down...:frown:

yeah I had plenty of fans but when its blowing air thats about 100 degrees not gonna help. . .fucking pissed me off but next card I get will be happy got my System next to AC and fans to blow in to keep it cool its running like 40 degrees cooler no lie
