My puter has been freezin so much... does this mean that it has to do with my video card? I suspected it all along.. could it be going bad? I've gotten the latest drivers... tyan radeon 9500 on my Athlon64.

I've got all the latest shit... ad-aware, spybot.. and using norton right now, although I was using mcafee before.

I could be in the other room, doin somethin, after I hit ESC on Deus ex and walked away, and come back and my puter is rebooting for some reason... it can happen while playing Doom3, while in Savage.. I think my vid card is goin to hell? I payed bucks for that too. :(

I think, after slapping the sound card onto my surfing puter and using on-board sound, after switching RAM banks, and after another reformat and reinstall with current drivers, my freezing/rebooting issue appears to be in remission.

I'm not quite sure what it was, and perhaps it was a combination of things.. maybe I should have tried one thing at a time to see what the cause was, but that would have taken more time and reboots than I had the patience for. I was *about* to RMA my video card.. that would have taken over a week.. and they might have sent the same one back if they found no errors with it.

I think my new Audigy card is better on the surfing puter anyhow, since I do music and TV/Movies on there anyhow.

I really should toss my ram up to 1gig on my gaming machine. 512 just isn't good 'nuff. I can't use the RAM in my other machine with what's in there, athlon is very, very picky.
